Asian-Inspired Rainbow Trout

Asian-Inspired Rainbow Trout

This rainbow trout recipe is ridiculously easy to throw together, and only takes 20 minutes to bake! Served over rice with a simple salad, this is the perfect way to enjoy fresh rainbow trout filets!

Ingredients:

- Juice of half a lemon

- 2 tbsp teriyaki marinade

- 1 tbsp maple syrup

- ½ tbsp sesame oil

- ½ tsp salt

- ½ tbsp paprika

- ½ tsp pepper

- 1 tbsp sesame seeds

- 4 fillets of rainbow trout

Instructions:

- Preheat the oven to 375o F

- Arrange rainbow trout filets in a glass baking dish, skin side down (they can overlap slightly)

- In a small bowl, mix together lemon juice, teriyaki, maple syrup, sesame oil, salt, paprika and pepper

- Brush the filets with the mixture and pour any excess marinade into the baking dish as well – it will form a sticky glaze

- Sprinkle the filets with sesame seeds and bake for twenty minutes
