Fruit and Nut Balls

These morsels have the weirdest name, but they are delicious, versatile, easy to make and more or less healthy! Give them a try!
Ingredients:
- 10-13 dates
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 2 tbsp flax seeds
- handfull of dried cranberries or raisins
- few pieces of dark chocolate
- optional: splash of vanilla extract, handfull of shredded coconut, pecans, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, prunes, dried apricots, etc
Instructions:
- Place all ingredients into food processor and combine until they form a uniform clump; this may take up to a minute or two of processing
- Once ingredients stick together, take bite sized amounts and roll with your hands to make balls (as seen in the picture, you can roll them in extra sesame seeds; poppy seeds or coconut work also)
- Refrigerate for as long as you can tolerate; although they are delicious right away, they taste even better when they firm up and the flavours have married a bit (ideally, overnight)
